Our Leadership Icon or Reference Point is no other person but the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe during the days of Jesus, his daily lifestyle was a reflection of timeless leadership principles that has been proven to be real. As a sound Leader, over 2000 years ago, he empowered 12 people with a prodcut called the gospel; He developed and reproduced himself in them and till date the product is all over the world.

Everyone was created from a template that is leadership Inclined; The creator of the Universe, The God of all flesh. God himself is a leader by default and choose to create man in his own image (Gen. 1:26). This for us reveals the mandate of humankind which is to provide leadership in every sphere of life.

Before Now, Leadership has been defined from the context of  Titles or Position but in the 21st century, Leadership is defined from the context of finding Purpose and passion and giving it your best. With this way of thinking, you can look at a cobbler who is good at what he does or an excellent painter and call them a leader.

True Leadership Begins from Personal discovery of who you are and paying the required price to become the person that has been discovered. The Leadership potential in everyone is birth the very day the individual finds purpose or passion for life.

While it is true that leadership begins from Self dicovery, becoming a leader requires of process of time. This principle suggests that Leadership growth process is a daily routine that must be committed to intentionally.

For an effective growth process for a leader, the right environment is a major pre-requisite. In LBD We believe there are some certain environments that stimulates the growth process of Leaders, while some environment stiffles it. so Leaders should go discern the best environment for their growth process.

In LBD, We seriously believe the way a leader can increase in growth, skills and competence is by helping others to also grow too, we call it the "People Development or Empowering others" mentality. A Persons Leadership capacity increases as he intentionally improves the lives of others.

In leadership, there are many things that makes people follow a leader, one of which is the idea of Innovation and Creativity. A leader's ability to be innovative & creative helps  him to make remarkable improvement on tasks.

In LBD, we believe problem solving mentality is should be the attitude of every true leader. Leaders dont forward their problems, they solve problems.
